Re-creating Defenders to last a lifetime… • Earlier this year, LR Motors was acquired by Ross Munro, who has been running operations for the company since 2015. The business remains based in Thirsk, with a showroom and workshop facility at Severfield Close. Ross has already set out plans to make the firm more sustainable, taking Defender and early 90 and 110 models that are 20, even 40 years old and recreating them as “LR Classics” so that they last for another 20 or 40 years
